Customisable support is provided by 2030 calico pocket springs, hand nested in two layers. This makes the Kingsbridge incredibly responsive and able to support pressure points with amazing precision. These individually nested springs are some of, if not the best available, which you would expect from the manufacturer responsible for the invention of the pocket spring - only the highest quality is guaranteed from a Vispring mattress.

It would not be a Vispring mattress without the finest natural fillings money can buy. Inside the Kingsbridge, generous layers of British fleece wool cushion you gently on the supportive springs, and hand-teased horsetail blended with Devonshire wool adds an additional layer of luxurious comfort - as well as the inspiration for the Kingsbridge name. These fillings are secured within the mattress with traditional hand tufting.

Only the finest quality ticking has been used to finish the Kingsbridge mattress. The borders of the Kingsbridge are upholstered in protective wool, with three rows of hand side-stitching to secure the edges of the mattress. Air vents have been placed in the mattress walls to assist with airflow to keep the mattress cool and healthy. 

The Kingsbridge mattress is a turnable mattress, and handles are placed along the sidewalls to assist with flipping and rotating the mattress. A seasonal turn is recommended, but we suggest turning more regularly immediately after purchase, to allow the luscious natural fillings to settle correctly.
