What makes the Cool Refresh mattresses different from other Sleepeezee models?
The Sleepeezee Cool mattresses have cooling gel foam, rather than memory foam or fibre fillings. This material is good at dissipating heat that can build up through the night. There is also a cooling cover, which feels cold to the touch, as well as air channels inside the mattress to move warmer air away from the mattress.
Do the Cool mattresses actually stay cool all night or just help not get hot?
These Sleepeezee mattresses are created to remove heat from the mattress, rather than actively cooling it down.
This process of drawing heat away can be very effective and reduce the temperature, compared to other mattresses.
Do the Sleepeezee Cool mattresses have pocket springs or are they all foam?
The Cool Mattress Collection all contain pocket springs. The 1600 model has one layer of pocket springs, whereas the other two mattresses have a double spring system - a supportive layer of stronger springs topped with a layer of smaller, mini-pocket springs acting to offer delicately refined support.
Will I still get the “sinking in” feeling like traditional memory foam?
All mattresses will compress slightly with use, even top of the range mattresses. This Sleepeezee range are all built around a pocket spring unit that offers great support, so the 'sinking in' feeling is greatly reduced. The gel layers on top are luxuriously comfortable, but you can still move around freely.
