How are SleepShaper mattresses delivered?
Most SleepShaper mattresses are vacuum-packed and rolled for easy delivery. This makes it significantly easier to navigate narrow staircases or tight hallways. Once you move the mattress to your bedroom and remove the packaging, it will begin to expand immediately. We recommend leaving it for 4 to 8 hours to regain its shape before use, though it may take up to 24–48 hours to reach its full height.
Do I need to flip my SleepShaper mattress?
No, SleepShaper® mattresses are generally designed as single-sided, non-turn mattresses. Because they are constructed with specific layers (such as a supportive base foam topped with a comfort layer of memory foam), flipping them would result in you sleeping on the firmer support core. To ensure even wear and longevity, we recommend rotating the mattress (head-to-toe) every three months.
Will a SleepShaper mattress make me feel too hot?
While traditional memory foam can retain heat, many SleepShaper models are engineered with temperature regulation in mind.
Additionally, the open-cell structure of modern SleepShaper foam allows for better airflow than older generations of memory foam.
What type of bed base is best for these mattresses?
SleepShaper mattresses are versatile and compatible with most UK bed frames, including divans and slatted bases. However, if you are using a slatted base, ensure the gaps between the slats are no wider than 7cm. Gaps wider than this can cause the foam to sag between the slats, potentially damaging the mattress.
How does the SleepShaper warranty work?
SleepShaper products typically come with a manufacturer’s warranty of 10 years. This covers manufacturing defects such as excessive dipping or foam degradation. At MyNextMattress, we facilitate this process to ensure you have peace of mind. Please remember to use a mattress protector!
Is there a "new mattress smell" with SleepShaper?
As with all new mattresses, you may notice a faint "new foam" scent (often called off-gassing) when you first unwrap your mattress. This is non-toxic and completely normal. It typically dissipates within 24 to 48 hours in a well-ventilated room. We recommend leaving the windows open for a few hours after unrolling to speed up the process.
